Spending some time on the water is a great way to spend your vacation. There are many opportunities for canoeing near the Conecuh National Forest. Come visit Henderson Beach State Park for a relaxing getaway. The beach features snow-white sand dunes, warm ocean water, and a nature trail, which are all an easy day trip from our rental. Fishing is available, as well as boating, bicycling, scuba diving, surfing, tours, wildlife viewing, and so much more. Spend a day at the beach basking in the sun and enjoying the ocean waters.

Stop by Jackson's Corner for some of the best fudge in Florala after spending a night at our cabin. Some of our guest's favorite flavors have been the rocky road, red velvet, peanut butter, and coconut. The shop includes all sorts of good quality antiques both upstairs and downstairs, sold at reasonable prices. Have a nice, warm cup of coffee to go with your fudge and explore all of the many trinkets and curiosities that fill the shop.

Nearby, Lake Jackson is considered one of the cleanest and clearest bodies of water in Alabama, making it perfect for visitors to spend an entire day swimming, boating and fishing. Visit the lake in time for the many festivals and special events that are held in the area. The park features a bike path, walking trail, picnic area, excellent fishing, and a designated swimming area.

There's nothing more refreshing than a hike in the great outdoors. Lakewood Park's trails attract thousands of visitors each year for being known as Britton Hill, Florida's high point at 345 feet. The trails take you through a small hardwood forest of mostly even terrain with three paths to choose from, each at different lengths. Come enjoy a hike through the Florida woodlands.

The U.S. Army Aviation Museum features a collection of over 160 military helicopters and airplanes that trace the development of aviation by the Army.
